On Thursday 21st September we held our first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the school hall at Unity Place. The cheese and wine worked its magic and enticed around 20 parents to attend and hear what we had been up to. Trinity PFA Chair (and all round superwoman), Tracy King, kicked off with her report on PFA activity since the new committee was formed in March this year and it was great to hear how much had been achieved in such a short period of time. The other committee members then took their turns in the spotlight sharing the PFA financials, charity status, upcoming events and how everyone can get involved. The committee structure was explained outlining vacancies within the committee and nominations to fill these were requested on the night. Two nominations were received and Kate Maughan was elected as Assistant Treasurer and Anna Hills was elected as Publicity Officer.Thank you to everyone who attended our first AGM. I think the Cheese and Wine was far too tempting! We had an excellent turnout and we met lots of new parents. We have two new committee members joining our team: Kate Maughan who joins us as co-treasurer and Anna Hills who joins publicity. We welcome both of them to our expanding team.
