For the last two years, we have been running our Movie Nights biannually. We make sure that we have the relevant licence to screen the film (from MLPC) and then charge for entry which includes a snack.
We set up in the school hall and project onto the big screen and then the children are waited on with their snacks so as not to interrupt the film.
It is fun to watch the kids showing up with their teddies and pyjamas. We always find the popular movie titles that people are happy to see more than once.
We usually sell tickets for the event as we know how many children are coming, but on the last event we used wristbands and pay on the door system and we had a higher turnout. Which had its good and bad points.
Over the last 2 years we have raised £1638.45.
